The Kiklukh River is host to a variety of different game fish. Wild cutthroat trout, both sea-run and resident, average twelve to sixteen inches. They inhabit the river year round, offering ultra light spin and fly fishers a bit of diversion. Resident and sea-run Dolly Varden are also in the river (average two to four pounds) as well as a healthy population of rainbow trout (average twelve to fifteen inches). During August, pink and sockeye salmon can be taken.

The fishing in the river mouth surf on an incoming tide can be FANTASTIC!
