We have come up with a way to track all of our customers to see how they found out about us when they come in for an estimate with our customer information sheets. It asks if this is an insurance referral, and if so which company and agent. or if from the internet, is it garagefly.com or another site. I printed them out, and this morning when my first customer came in, she said she needed an estimate but no insurance is involved.  I asked her if she would mind filling out this form while I wrote the estimate.  When she handed me the form, the box checked was GARAGEFLY.COM.  WOW!! The first customer asked and that was the answer!  It's working great!"

"Just a quick note to let you guys know, I am a believer.  The very next morning after the Scottsdale meeting I had a young man come to the shop for an estimate.  After attending the meeting the evening before, I was ready with some info and a strategy to greet new customers as they come in. Anyway, this young man did not have full coverage and his insurance company was only paying 50% of the claim.  His original estimate was approximately $3000.  After we wrote it and discussed his options for alternative part usage, he decided to go with the repairs.  As we ended the conversation, I asked him how he heard of us and from his back pack he pulled several pieces of paper that he printed from the internet and low and behold there was Garagefly.com and Andy’s Collision Center – West on the first page.  We repaired his vehicle and stayed close to the amount of money his insurance company allotted. We sent him down the road very pleased with our shop and the repairs we performed. The job ended up being $2200.  Thanks again. I’ll be honest, it definitely doesn’t hurt to spend a few extra minutes with customers and as Matt put it that evening, “SELL THE JOB!”

The first one was from an older lady that went to Nogales, Mexico. When she got back to her 2004 Honda Odyssey, she noticed that someone damaged her passenger side. She called her daughter who got online, did all the research and decided to choose our shop due to the reviews she read. The second job was the same scenario. The husband did the research after his wife's vehicle was in an accident. Both customers didn't want their insurance to dictate where their vehicles were going to get repaired as they had bad experiences prior to these losses. Both repairs combined came out to $8,871.89. "My name is Kristy Singer and I have been at Blackwell Automotive for over 13 years. My position is General Manager and AASG (all around swell gal) and the owner, Tom Blackwell, has been in business over 30 years.
